For the past seven years, she has been working in the body corporate sector, initially managing the services division of a leading body corporate management company in Brisbane. As manager, she set about restructuring the business, setting up new systems to coordinate a team of contractors in dedicated areas of Queensland and expanding the service offering with great success.

Having a good knowledge of body corporate over the past 25 years from an owner and committee member perspective, and having worked in cooperation with body corporate managers across Queensland, she has an extensive insight into body corporate operations, and has further enhanced her knowledge, by studying all aspects of the Act to ensure the highest level of service delivery to clients.

In 2011, Shirley gained her Fire Safety Adviser qualification and later completed a course in Property Risk and Compliance Management with the National Safety Council of Australia.  This course focussed directly on risk management for Bodies Corporate and facilities managed complexes, giving her a good working knowledge of Body Corporate requirements. She currently holds a Trade Contractor licence in Emergency Procedures with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission and is fully licensed to conduct fire safety inspections and associated services for Bodies Corporate.

Shirley has been a resident of the Whitsundays since 2003 and is excited to now be able to offer a superior experience to Bodies Corporate locally.
